Gurpreet sought out life coaching to help with her career direction and to drop some bad habits.
We recently caught up with Gurpreet to talk about her coaching experience and to find out what she is up to now!
What did you come to coaching for?
I came for life coaching because I was feeling unsatisfied with my life but I didn’t know what to do about it. I felt stuck, lost and scared to make any change because it could be the wrong decision.
What was the solution you discovered through the process?
I learned to follow my gut and stop the self-destructive behavior before it even starts. I discovered that I needed to take risks, believe in my dreams and myself and cut out the noise from ” haters” 😉
What was the most powerful part of this experience for you?
Letting myself have emotions and understand where my anger really came from. I connect with my feelings and I know what I really want instead of what others expect of me. I learned how to let myself be happy and truly feel happy.
What is the biggest change you have noticed about yourself since beginning coaching together?
The biggest change for me was in my way of reasoning and understanding myself. Alycia called me out on the negative behaviors I had and gave me tools to deal with them when they sneak up. I also gained a lot of self-confidence and I started to believe in myself again which I had not done in a very long time.
