Cultivating true happiness that radiates from within takes some conscious effort…
Here are 4 simple ways to always be happy:
Accept yourself and celebrate your differences
We are living in a world that is constantly showing us everyone’s ‘perfect lives’ though social media… it can make anyone feel somewhat… shitty. If you make a conscious effort to let go of comparing yourself and just focus on how to be the best version of yourself – you can learn to live a life that makes you truly happy.
Explore your interests
Explore and discover what you like to do is a great way to cultivate inner happiness. By spending time finding out what brings you joy you are focusing on you and what you truly want. Exploring your interests involves paying attention to when you are having the most fun and trying to include those activities into your daily routine.
Trust your gut
This is something we all have access to but you might not be totally in touch with it. Trusting your gut is all about paying attention to your emotional cues and feelings. The more you can get in touch with your emotions the stronger your intuition will be. One way to do this is by journaling your emotions because writing opens up the non-conscious mind that help you sharpen your intuitive skills.
Ignore your mind
We have so many thoughts in our day and it can feel overwhelming. Ignoring your mind can be a challenge but try to pay more attention to your body rather than your thoughts. When it comes to happiness, what feels true to you often comes from body and emotional awareness. So pay attention to what your body tells you… Mindfulness is an excellent way to get in tune with what your body is saying!
