In our society there is a big emphasis on the ‘up’ emotions like happiness, joy, passion and a very discriminatory attitude towards the ‘down’ emotions like guilt, shame, sadness.
What if we decided to not discriminate against our emotions and showed all our emotions equal love and acceptance?
In my experience, the acceptance of all emotions has allowed me to form a deeper sense of connection to myself by giving myself emotional freedom to feel whatever I need to feel.
